The Network was launched at a hybrid meeting of the PAINDIFF Networking partners held during the the European Pain Federation (EFIC) Meeting in Budapest in September 2023. Here the terms of references, the goals, actions and timelines of the network were discussed and agreed on.

PAINDIFF Network Meeting - 27-28th May 2024, Galway

A number of online meeting took place and the Network came together in May 2024 at the University of Galway to discuss the project and draft recommendations for best practice in the field. The engaging 2-day meeting took place at the Aula Maxima at the University of Galway and while the majority of partners were able to attend in person those that could not attended online.   

The meeting included presentations by the scientific co-ordiantor and subgroup leads, discussion on the data from the PAINDIFF survey, the current opinions and practices in preclinical, clinical and translational pain research, and first draft of the recommendations for best practice in the field. 

PAINDIFF Network meeting - 8th August 2024, Amsterdam

A hybrid meeting took place during the IASP World Pain Congress in Amsterdam between the PAINDIFF Partners to discuss the data from the PAINDIFF survey, discuss and decide on final recommendations of the network and explore future funding opportunities
